Welcome to the Ellanora Journal, a website devoted to all things spiritual and divine. Its namesake is Ellanora, a courageous woman of spiritual truth.

I view spirituality and religion as a personal, inner experience of growing spiritual discovery, one that greatly benefits the individual, their families, and their communities.

I do not represent any institutional religion, but I do my best to promote the most rewarding ideas and practices from all of them. My articles are, therefore, influenced by a number of spiritual and religious traditions. But for the most part, they reflect the philosophy, values, and ideals of The Urantia Book (as I understand it).

In addition to spiritual pursuits, I’m a strong advocate of scientific research, philosophical endeavors, and social progress. I believe all these activities inevitably lead us to a better understanding of God, the universe, the world, and ourselves. And as we advance and deepen our understanding of the great cosmos, we create a better world for everyone.

Much of the content in my posts is also available in my free book, The Essential God Experience. The advantage of the book is that it puts things in a logical order.
